It’s pure suburban bliss as you take to the tree-lined roads and leafy residential neighborhoods of North Atlanta on this easy 19-miler. Start by heading east on Brookhaven Drive around the edge of the Capital City Country Club. After 1.8 miles of smooth spinning, turn left on Windsor Parkway to begin a short loop through Silver Lake. After the loop, reverse your direction on Windsor en route to ride’s first climb, a 1.3-mile roll (3.4 percent average grade) up Northland Drive.
Traffic picks up on Glenridge Drive and Roswell Road, but you’ll return to quiet neighborhood streets upon connecting to Mount Paran Road. Refuel on food and drink at the Old Country Store before rolling past mind-blowing mansions and estates on Conway Drive. Hit the ride’s final ascent – a 0.7-miler averaging a nasty 10 percent grade over its final 200 feet – upon turning onto Loridans Drive. Round out the route by winding down Club Drive before reconnecting to Brookhaven Drive.
